Winners from the Doniphan West Jr and Sr High Schools

Teachers and their support staff have tremendous influence on the youth within their respective communities. They engage, encourage, and instill confidence into the lives of thousands of children throughout their careers. Along with that opportunity comes infinite responsibility to ensure that each child is reaching his or her potential, a duty that rarely ends with the ring of the 3:30 bell.

Over the course of the 2018-2019 school year, will be recognizing the teachers and support staff who educate throughout their service areas in northeast Kansas. The campaign will encompass multiple communities and will spotlight 10 school districts overall. During each school visit, educators will receive a coffee mug, along with multiple chances to win a $25 gift card that can be used towards supplies for their classrooms.

The campaign slogan, “Lighting the Way for the Future” is relevant as continues its fiber expansion throughout northeast Kansas. At this time, over half of the districts use a fiber-fed broadband connection (delivered by light over fiber optic cable) resulting in faster download and upload speeds, increased reliability, and unparalleled performance.

This school year, please join us in applauding the teachers and staff who “Light the Way for the Future”!
